Folios

While it was originally our idea to incorporate headshots and quotes into our folios this year, Dan made the original folio template on all the spreads. We later realized that some adjustments had to be made as time progressed and we actually began to fill these empty spreads. We adjusted the mod so that the headshot was adjacent to the quote, rather than the headshot being aligned to the outermost edge with the page number separating the student's picture and quote. While it was frustrating, momentarily, to decide what spacing allowed for room to "breathe" while strategically implying paired objects through close spacing, we finally found the perfect spacing. However, we ran into issues again when we got to the folios for the club and team pages. The "page topic" section began to extend beyond the bleed line and therefore we had to make the decision of moving the student name and grade information up next to the quote for only these pages. While these folios are very interesting and are a great way to cover more students per page, it was also a difficult aspect to design to perfectly suit our purpose.
